hinterhideout, a rental property in Sutton, Quebec
Quebec, a destination known for being surrounded by beautiful nature and gorgeous landscapes. Whilst the north is usually the most well-known weekend getaway option, the eastern area also has a number of wineries, farm-to-table food, spas, outdoor activities, and much more.
Driving for hours in the middle of nowhere often feels like a dream, yet being close to the requisite stores has its advantages. hinter, a community focused on nature, has been hosting visitors in peculiar and pleasant settings for a few years now. With hinterhouse opening just a few years ago, followed by hintercabin, a third space naturally saw the day. With all that, they have indeed demonstrated their participation and concern for the environment, as well as their ability to actually make a difference.
hinterhideout, Sutton’s latest rental property
hinterhideout, their most recent project, is a 3,500 sqft. stunning architecture house in lovely Sutton. This masterpiece was created a few years ago by Saucier Perrotte, one of Canada's most prestigious architectural firms.
Just across a ski resort and close to the centre of Sutton, this house offers the feeling of being deep in nature with no one around. And as soon as you drive to the entrance, behind an alley of trees, a stunning property will appear - the hideout. Expect a very large black house in a 5 acre forest, large windows reflecting its surroundings, a smaller guesthouse just as beautiful, and finally, a private lake and river with the most soothing sound ever.
The house itself is a work of art. While the forms, shapes, and remarkable lines are visually appealing, the house is also utilitarian and extremely pleasant. The space has a fully equipped kitchen, a huge dining room area ideal for entertaining, and, most importantly, an attractive living room with a forest green velvet sofa, a significant element in the entire interior design. The rest of the property has a trendy, basic yoga/meditation space, two full bathrooms, three modest private connected double bedrooms, and two spacious king bedrooms.
And a few steps away from the main house, a guesthouse with an interior slightly different can also be rented upon request. Despite being much smaller, the house has everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen with a lovely view of the forest, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a living room. All that one could ask for.
Moments in solitude
hinterhideout certainly does not lack friendliness and warmth, although bigger scale dwellings might. The house truly feels like home, with everything you could possibly need during your stay. While spending time with family and friends is the most enjoyable, some alone time is also necessary. The room is large enough for someone to just stroll out for a few minutes and enjoy some alone time. And the essential feature of the hideaway is how it was created so that you feel like you're outside in nature even while you're inside. The floor-to-ceiling windows are undoubtedly the key reason why this property exudes grandeur.
The surroundings of the hideout are equally stunning and one-of-a-kind. Walk down to the river and over it to arrive in front of a beautifully designed private lake. The sounds of the water running are a form of therapy in and of themselves, allowing you to just experience the true essence of your being.
hinter has always affirmed wellbeing, health, and, most importantly, inner serenity. The house was constructed with nature as the primary aspect of relaxation in mind. With a fireplace overlooking a stunning forest, a reading room, and outdoors furniture to contemplate nature, they carefully thought of everything to ensure their guests could enjoy the moment free spirited.
When it’s finally time for a gathering, a bbq with everything you might need is available with a fully equipped kitchen. And if cooking seems like a task, a local chef or a farm to table experience can simply come to you upon request.
Discerning Sutton
While being inside is always very tempting, you might feel the need to discover Sutton and what it has to offer. The city offers one of the best farm-to-table experiences, stunning vineyards, a ski resort, and much more.
And if coffee is as pertinent to you as it is to us, we recommend Yamakibo, a Japanese-inspired café with great handcrafted pastries and, of course, delicious coffee. Because coffee is such a crucial component of hinter, the coffee bar at the hideout has a large selection of Yamakibo coffee beans. Can we ask for anything more?
