HOY hotel, the Parisian House of Yoga

Our bodies are hard-wired to respond to stress, and in these frenetic times, we frequently overlook our own well-being. We keep going until our bodies can't keep up and we are forced to stop as we reach our limits. It is becoming increasingly necessary in our fairly fast society to take time to slow down for our emotional, mental, and physical health. When we slow down, we can think more clearly and rationally.

While taking a break on a trip, hotels can be overwhelming due to the sheer number of people, but don't worry, L'escale believes in smaller settings that can heal the soul. Even while Paris may be overpowering at times, there are a handful of hidden sights with a tranquil ambience. However, very few are solely concerned with their guests' well-being, with the exception of HOY, the House of Yoga.

Meeting HOY

HOY, the House of Yoga is one of the more forthrightly themed hotels. It combines every form of holistic, including  certified yoga teacher and a vegan restaurant by the team behind London's Plant Academy, a Japanese florist, Feng Shui-inspired interior design, and a wellness centre that offers meditation, energy work, and holistic gynaecology in addition to massage and beauty treatments.

In Spanish, hoy signifies TODAY. Today, the current moment.

They believe in living in the present moment since it is the only thing you have control over right now. They encourage you to slow down by providing a calm environment and practising yoga and mindfulness, while all of your dilemmas go away. It is a space blossoming around the health and well-being of the body, mind, and spirit in the centre of one of the world's most beautiful cities.

Concept behind this thoughtful space

As the name implies, yoga is one of their core elements. Yoga allows you to find your inner peace. They've all used eco-friendly gadgets, plant-based meals, and natural air purifiers. Simply glancing around might help you relax. Everything is done so gently and organically that your mind quickly relaxes. The hotel's heavy emphasis on self-care has a very contemporary feel to it. The rooms are snug in classic Parisian design yet ultra-calming in neutral tones and organic materials, and they're as fashionable as they are comfy. The drinking water is charcoal-filtered, the bath items are organic.

Restaurant, care room and florist

MESA, HOY plant-based restaurant is a lovely setting to taste unique and delicious meals. While a plant-based diet is generally regarded as the healthiest way to eat, its benefits encompass far beyond weight loss. Considering this, the restaurant emphasises fresh goods and real meals grown locally, seasonally, and sustainably. The ambiance is soothing and well-designed, allowing you to enjoy their cuisine selection, which is available from breakfast to supper, or simply sip on a freshly brewed coffee.

HOY wanted to ensure that their guests had access to different ways to totally unwind throughout their stay. Massages are provided by experienced therapists in a care room, or in your very own room. While we all experience discomfort from time to time, HOY wanted to offer unique treatments such as holistic massages, sound baths, sophrology, CBD massages, facial treatments, olfactotherapy, reiki, creating mandalas and more.

But our favourite part of the hotel is, without a doubt, LA FLORERIA. A lovely small flower studio with the most stunning arrangements by Chiaki Kokami, a passionate Japanese florist. Clearly influenced by her heritage, she created a traditional French style with her own spin. Her creations, which she sources from local vendors across Paris, can be crafted from dried flowers, paint, and other natural materials. Their location, as well as the variety of flowers, makes it one of the most striking metrics of HOY.

If you want to take a restorative holiday in Paris, HOY is one of the best possibilities. Everything is so meticulously and brilliantly crafted that simply visiting the location will heal you. The hotel is well designed, fairly priced and a real hidden gem in Paris. We heartily prompt you to carve some time out of your hectic schedule to live in the moment. Your body and mind will really appreciate every second.
